Nissan rolls out higher‑priced Versa 2027 and low‑cost Kait, Kicks in Brazil
The 2027 Nissan Versa sedan entered the Brazilian market without the redesign that debuted in Mexico, retaining the 1.6‑litre naturally aspirated engine (113 hp) and CVT transmission. No new equipment levels were added, but all three trims – Sense, Advance and Exclusive – saw price increases, with the entry‑level Sense rising by R$ 2,000.
Nissan also highlighted the cost‑of‑ownership advantages of its new Kait and Kicks SUVs, both built at the Resende plant. The Kait uses a 1.6 L 16‑valve engine paired with an XTRONIC CVT, while the Kicks is equipped with a 1.0 L turbocharged engine delivering 125 hp and a dual‑clutch DCT. Both models benefit from low‑price spare parts, a three‑year unlimited‑kilometre warranty, two‑year complimentary 24‑hour roadside assistance, and a maintenance program with fixed‑price services up to 60 000 km or 72 months.
