Nissan Latin America vehicle rollout

In mid‑July 2026 Nissan highlighted its strong position in the Mexican market, reporting that its locally built NP300 pickup, Versa sedan and Kicks SUV together surpassed 150,000 units sold in fiscal year 2025, marking 18 consecutive years as the market leader. At the same time the automaker unveiled the 2026 Versa, fitted with up to 12 driver‑assist technologies, and continued production at its Aguascalientes plant.

A week later Nissan announced its next phase of the regional strategy in Brazil. The company introduced the 2027 Versa sedan for the Brazilian market, retaining the previous‑generation powertrain but raising prices across all three trims. In parallel, Nissan promoted two new, low‑cost SUVs – the Kait and the Kicks – built at the Resende plant, emphasizing reduced ownership costs, extended warranties and fixed‑price maintenance programmes.

Together, the snapshots show Nissan leveraging recent sales success in Mexico to roll out updated safety‑focused models while simultaneously expanding a cost‑focused SUV line and adjusting pricing in Brazil, reflecting a coordinated push to strengthen its presence across Latin America.
