Nissan to release updated Note and Note Aura models in August 2026

Nissan is set to release updated versions of its Note, Note Aura, and Note Aura NISMO on August 24, 2026. This minor change represents a significant update to the E13 series, which has been in production since 2021.

A central feature of the update is the overhaul of the e-POWER system. The system is transitioning from a single-motor to a dual-motor configuration, significantly improving both driving performance and fuel efficiency. The Note models will see acceleration improvements of approximately 10% to 40% and fuel efficiency gains of 6% to 30% under WLTC modes. The Note Aura will utilize a higher-output motor providing 136ps.

Safety enhancements include the integration of ProPILOT technology alongside standard features such as Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Blind Side Intervention (BSI). Additionally, the vehicle structure has been reinforced with high-tensile steel to improve rigidity and safety. A new Black Edition trim will also be introduced for the Note lineup.
