Niterói Expo Geek attracts thousands to Caminho Niemeyer

The fourth edition of Niterói Expo Geek is taking place at Caminho Niemeyer in Niterói, Brazil, drawing thousands of pop culture enthusiasts. The free event features a diverse program including anime, games, K-pop, comics, RPG, literature, technology, music, and theater.

Organizers expect to exceed 30,000 visitors over the two-day weekend. The event includes more than 50 attractions and approximately 60 hours of activities, such as cosplay and K-cover contests, interactive experiences, and panels. Notable guests include voice actors Úrsula Bezerra and William Viana, as well as content creators Marcos Castro and Luciana D’Aulizio.

Mayor Rodrigo Neves visited the site, noting the event's significant growth from its first edition in 2023, which saw roughly 6,000 attendees. The Niterói Empresa de Lazer e Turismo (Neltur) is also participating with a stand showcasing local tourism attractions.
