Niterói Rotativo launches initiatives to strengthen local commerce
Niterói Rotativo held the Conexão Niterói meeting on August 24 at Restaurante Olimpo to present initiatives for the development and well-being of Niterói. The event brought together public officials, business leaders, and productive sector entities.
Key initiatives introduced include the Programa Parceiro Amigo da Cidade, which recognizes local businesses that support concessionaire workers by providing amenities like water and restrooms, and the Pacto Empresarial por Niterói. The latter is a voluntary commitment focused on inclusive hiring, employability, urban mobility, and strengthening local commerce.
Additionally, the company launched the Parcerias que Fortalecem project, a platform designed to unify Niterói Rotativo’s social responsibility actions. The meeting included representatives from the Municipal Secretariat of Conservation and Public Services (Seconser), the Chamber of Shopkeepers of Niterói (CDL-Niterói), and the Brazilian Association of Bars and Restaurants (Abrasel Leste Fluminense-RJ).
