Nitin Gadkari calls for transformation of independence into Swarajya

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has called on citizens to transform India's independence into ‘Swarajya’ (self-governance). Speaking on the significance of Independence Day, Gadkari urged the nation to work toward nation-building and fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of establishing India as a ‘Vishwa Guru’ (global leader).

Gadkari emphasized that national efforts should focus on making the country prosperous and affluent by ensuring the welfare of farmers, laborers, the poor, and rural villages. He noted that current freedoms were achieved through the sacrifices of millions and encouraged a renewed momentum for development.

In conjunction with the celebrations, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being observed nationwide under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative. The campaign encourages citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes to mark the occasion.
