NLB Group completes rebranding of Komercijalna banka

NLB Group has completed the integration of Komercijalna banka, which officially began operating under the name NLB Banka as of September 1, 2026. This rebranding marks the end of the Komercijalna banka brand, which had been a prominent fixture in the Serbian banking sector for over five decades.

Founded in Belgrade in 1970, Komercijalna banka navigated various economic challenges, including the hyperinflation of the 1990s. The transition to NLB Banka does not alter the bank's legal status, registration number, or existing contractual obligations to its clients. The integration follows the 2020 acquisition of an 83.23% stake by NLB Group for 387 million euros.
