NMIXX releases sixth mini album ‘Strange Muse’

K-pop group NMIXX has released their sixth mini album, ‘Strange Muse’, featuring the title track ‘Birthday Wish’. The release marks the group's first comeback in approximately five months following ‘Heavy Serenade’.

The title track, ‘Birthday Wish’, is a pop song blending Moombahton, Afro, and Future House elements. The lyrics describe an emotional journey of healing from heartbreak and finding hope through a new connection, characterized as a form of rebirth.

This album also introduces the group's first unit tracks: a ballad pop song by Lily and Haewon titled ‘You Are the Moon’, a Latin-groove track by Sullyoon and Bae titled ‘Hot and Unabothered’, and a fast-paced rap/pop track by Jiwoo and Kyujin titled ‘Hwik’. Several members, including Bae and Kyujin, participated in the songwriting process for the album.
