Noida Police Arrest Six in Fake Job Recruitment Scam

Police and the cyber crime team in Noida jointly raided a building in Sector‑27 on July 27, responding to a victim’s complaint. The operation resulted in the arrest of six suspects – four women and two men – accused of running a fake recruitment racket that promised jobs at reputed companies and collected registration, processing and other fees from unemployed youths.

The arrested individuals – Shweta Singh (alias Priya), Nijju Yadav, Kriti Singh (alias Mira), Pooja, Ramesh Kumar and Aamir Rana – were found with three mobile phones, numerous fee books, receipt books, pamphlets and filled‑out recruitment forms. Authorities say the gang used these documents to lure job‑seekers and extract money. The case is being further investigated, with officials urging the public to verify any job offers and report suspicious demands for money.
