Overview

Noida police arrested six individuals following the theft of approximately 1.5 crore rupees from a garage in Sector-25. Authorities recovered 1.48 crore rupees in cash, consisting of 296 bundles of 500-rupee notes, and a vehicle used in the crime.

Investigations indicated that the primary suspect, 33-year-old Avnish Kumar, had been collecting funds from individuals under the guise of investments through a CA firm and a trading profit fund. The theft was allegedly motivated by Kumar’s inability to return those previously collected investment funds. The suspects were apprehended near the Rajnigandha crossing through electronic surveillance and local intelligence.
