Nongshim expands Shin Ramyun presence in Mexico

Nongshim is expanding its presence in the Latin American market, using Mexico as a strategic hub. During the ‘2026 K-EXPO MEXICO’ held at the World Trade Center in Mexico City, the company, the only Korean instant noodle manufacturer at the event, promoted its Shin Ramyun brand through various consumer engagement activities, including photo zones featuring brand ambassador aespa and live cooking demonstrations.

As part of its market penetration strategy, Nongshim has reached agreements with major local retailers. The company is working with Sam's Club to list Shin Ramyun Cup and Shin Ramyun Tumba Cup in approximately 170 stores by the end of the year, with sales expected to begin early next year. Additionally, Nongshim will collaborate with the large retail chain Soriana to operate dedicated product displays and promotional events during the ‘Buen Fin’ shopping period in November, with plans to launch Shin Ramyun Rosé at Soriana in early 2026.

CEO Cho Yong-cheol stated that the company aims to increase its overseas sales proportion to over 60% by 2030, targeting total revenue of 7.3 trillion won and an operating profit margin of 10%.
