Nongshim partners with LA chef to promote Shin Ramyun

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Shin Ramyun, Nongshim participated in the LA Times ‘101 Best Restaurants in L.A.’ culinary event held in Santa Monica, California. As the only Korean food company present, Nongshim operated a commemorative booth featuring a tasting lounge and photo zones.

In collaboration with Chef Ji-hee Kim of the acclaimed Korean restaurant Perilla LA, Nongshim unveiled two specialized recipes: ‘Shin Ramyun Original with Octopus and Slow Roasted Tomato’ and ‘Shin Ramyun Rosé with Burrata and Seaweed.’ These menus aim to demonstrate the brand's versatility beyond instant noodles by integrating local ingredients and gourmet techniques.

This initiative follows recent global marketing efforts by Nongshim, including participation in SIAL Paris, pop-up stores in Osaka, and promotional events in New York. The company seeks to expand its global presence by blending its products with diverse international culinary cultures.
