Nongshim to promote Shin Ramyun at K-culture festivals in India

Nongshim is expanding its brand presence in India by participating in the ‘HYBE INDIA Pop-Up ParkK-culture festival. Starting in mid-September, the company will operate ‘Shin Ramyun snack’ booths in four cities: Chennai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, and Kochi.

The event, organized by HYBE as part of a local audition project, offers K-pop fans various creative experiences and brand programs. Nongshim plans to host tasting sessions and interactive events, such as roulette games, to engage young Indian consumers interested in Korean culture.

This initiative follows a successful first phase in six Indian cities earlier this year. Nongshim has seen significant growth in the region, with exports to India increasing by approximately 47% in the first half of the year compared to the same period last year. The company is also strengthening its distribution network through collaborations with local quick-commerce leader Blinkit.
