Mexican security forces conduct multi-state operations and seizures

Mexican security forces conducted multiple operations across Sinaloa, Nayarit, Chihuahua, and Quintana Roo, resulting in several arrests and the seizure of significant weaponry and narcotics.

In Sinaloa and Nayarit, coordinated efforts by the military and federal agencies led to the arrest of eight individuals, including three minors. Authorities seized over 9,000 cartridges, 53 improvised explosive devices, and various firearms. In Culiacán, a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory was dismantled, yielding 1,350 liters of chemical substances. In Mazatlán, an abandoned vehicle was found following a shootout.

In Nonoava, Chihuahua, an armed confrontation between the Mexican Army and civilians resulted in the arrest of five people. Security forces recovered an arsenal including AK-47 and AR-15 rifles, tactical gear, and two vehicles. The incident is preliminarily linked to the criminal group ‘Los Tigres’.

In Cancún, Quintana Roo, authorities raided a restaurant suspected of involvement in the exploitation of minors. The operation involved the Mexican Army, Navy, and National Guard to secure the premises during the investigation.
