Breezand home robbery investigation leads to six arrests

Police have arrested six men in connection with a violent home robbery that occurred in Breezand during the night of October 25 to 26, 2025. The incident involved significant violence against the residents.

The first suspect, a 27-year-old man from Kerkrade, was apprehended on a highway near Utrecht. Police recovered items at the time of his arrest that were believed to have been stolen from the Breezand residence. Following the release of surveillance footage through programs such as ‘Bureau NH’ and ‘Opsporing Verzocht’, investigators identified and arrested five additional suspects, aged between 17 and 27, from Zuid-Limburg.

Currently, three of the five later suspects are in pre-trial detention, while two others remain suspects but have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
