Emergency response in Noordwijk

Overview

On September 5, emergency services responded to an incident in Noordwijk involving an individual exhibiting ‘incomprehensible behavior’ on the roof of the Willem van den Bergh residential care center.

A negotiator and the Special Intervention Service (Dienst Speciale Interventies) were deployed to the scene. The situation concluded peacefully after the individual left the roof and was taken away by ambulance personnel.
