Norbert Kiss nears eighth ETRC title after Le Mans victory

Norbert Kiss, driving for Révész Racing, has secured a dominant position in the FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) following a successful race weekend in Le Mans, France.

During the Saturday session, Kiss achieved his 16th race victory of the season and secured his 11th pole position. His qualifying time of 2:04.213 broke his own previous record from the prior year. This performance has created a mathematical advantage that makes his championship title nearly certain.

This victory brings Kiss closer to securing his eighth ETRC title, a record-breaking achievement. He has maintained a consistent winning streak, having won the overall championship every year since 2021, in addition to titles won in 2014 and 2015. Seven races remain in the season, with the final round scheduled to take place in Jarama.
