The Nordex Group announced new wind turbine orders totalling 510 MW in Europe. In Germany, Nordex secured about 255 MW from 14 projects involving 39 turbines, including a 35 MW community wind farm in Rheine‑Catenhorn, North Rhine‑Westphalia, with service and maintenance agreements. The contracts are slated for construction between summer 2027 and spring 2028.

In Eastern Europe the company won a 100 MW contract for 17 N163/5 X turbines, also with a multi‑year service deal, with start‑up planned for 2028. Customer and site details were not disclosed.

A further 155 MW of orders were received for Southern Europe and Turkey, covering 34 turbines to be installed and commissioned between spring 2027 and early 2028, likewise backed by long‑term service agreements.

Nordex highlighted its role in the energy transition, noting the importance of community wind projects for local participation. The group has installed over 64 GW of wind capacity worldwide, posted €7.6 billion in sales for 2025 and employs more than 11,100 staff across factories in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India and the United States.
