Nordex secures 484 MW of new US onshore wind turbine orders
Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex announced three new onshore projects in the United States, together delivering 484 MW of capacity. The orders cover 32 N133/4.8 turbines (about 154 MW) and two sites with 56 N163/5.X turbines (approximately 330 MW). The contracts build on established customer relationships and underline Nordex’s strategy to expand its market share in the US despite volatile financing conditions.
The announcement lifted Nordex’s share price, with the stock moving closer to its recent annual high. Analysts view the US orders as a diversification benefit that could improve the company’s earnings mix compared with its Germany‑focused portfolio. The projects are slated for execution over the coming years across several US states, subject to power‑purchase agreements and permitting timelines.
