Nordex secures 700 MW wind turbine order from UKA in Germany

The Nordex Group announced that project developer UKA has placed orders for roughly 700 MW of onshore wind capacity in Germany. The contract covers 100 turbines – 50 of the N175/6.X model and 50 of the N163/6.X model – each rated at 7 MW, to be installed across several federal states. In addition to the hardware supply, the deal includes multi‑year service and maintenance agreements that will provide Nordex with recurring revenue after the turbines are commissioned.

The order stems from successful EEG auction awards in August 2025 and February 2026 and aligns with UKA’s target of installing 1 GW of wind power in a single calendar year. Company officials highlighted the partnership as a continuation of a long‑standing relationship and a demonstration of Nordex’s competitive position in the German onshore wind market. Market reaction was mixed, with the Nordex share price briefly rising before slipping amid broader market weakness, but analysts view the contract as a strong indicator of continued demand for renewable‑energy equipment in Germany.
