Normal opens 10th store in Marseille as French expansion continues

The Danish discount retailer Normal opened its tenth French outlet in Marseille, occupying 375 m² in the Bonneveine shopping centre. Marketing manager Anaëlle Gisquet said Marseille is one of the cities where the chain performs best, noting the dense local store network that now follows Paris as the company’s second‑largest market in France.

Normal also announced a festive launch of a new 400 m² store on boulevard Leclerc in Caen on 12 August 2026. The opening will feature early‑bird giveaways for the first 300 customers and continues the chain’s pattern of adding a fourth store to the Caen agglomeration within five years, expanding its range of everyday‑use products at low prices.
