Normal retail chain European expansion
Overview
The Danish discount retailer Normal is continuing its international expansion through new store openings in Europe.
In France, the company has reached a milestone with its tenth outlet in Marseille, located in the Bonneveine shopping centre. Marketing manager Anaëlle Gisquet noted that Marseille is among the chain’s top-performing cities. Further expansion in France includes a new 400 m² store scheduled to open in Caen on 12 August 2026.
Simultaneously, the retailer has entered the Czech Republic market with two new locations in Prague. These stores, situated at the Flora shopping center and Galerie Butovice, opened in mid-August 2026. The Czech launch included promotional activities and the introduction of the brand’s mobile application and ‘Uniqoins’ loyalty program to the local market.
