North Central Development Commission begins headquarters remodeling in Nasarawa

The North Central Development Commission (NCDC) has commenced the remodeling of its headquarters in Lafia, following the donation of the facility by the Nasarawa State Government. The project, estimated to cost over N400 million, aims to create a conducive working environment and provide sufficient office space for upcoming staff recruitment.

Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, the NCDC Managing Director and CEO, stated that the upgrade is essential for the commission to begin its development programs effectively, noting that the organization is now 12 months old. Tsenyil expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for establishing the commission and thanked Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule for providing the office complex and an additional building containing over 100 offices.

The contractor, Geodata Construction, has been tasked with completing the project within 16 weeks according to specific requirements.
