North Gyeongsang council chairs convene regular meeting in Cheongsong, South Korea

On 24 January, the North Gyeongsang Province’s council‑chair association held its regular plenary at the Cheongsong Confucian Culture Exhibition Hall. Twenty‑two city and county council chairs from across the province, together with Cheongsong mayor Yoon Kyung‑hee and senior municipal officials, attended.

Chair Sim Sang‑hyu opened the session with remarks urging tighter cooperation and a new phase of regional development. The assembly deliberated its agenda, donated funds to local social‑welfare facilities, and elected a new chair, Ji Mu‑jin of Uiseong County, to lead the next term. Participants later toured the Sim‑Su‑Gwan Ceramic Museum, showcasing the area’s 400‑year pottery heritage.
