North Macedonia approves 41 priority capital projects for 2027
The Government of North Macedonia has approved the first priority list of 41 proposed capital projects for the year 2027. The Ministry of Finance announced that these projects, which have a value of over 5 million euros each, were evaluated based on strategic importance, financial sustainability, and feasibility.
The approved list covers various sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, energy, digitalization, agriculture, and water management. This list will serve as a crucial foundation for determining new capital investments during the 2027 budget process and for the investment programs of public enterprises and state-owned companies.
According to the Ministry of Finance, inclusion in this priority list does not guarantee immediate funding or a final decision on implementation. Final funding decisions will be made through the capital budgeting process, depending on project maturity and government priorities for the relevant fiscal year.
