The Automoto Association of Macedonia (AMSM) reports increased traffic intensity and delays at key border crossings. Specifically, Tabanovce (for both entry and exit) and Bogorodica (for exit) are experiencing wait times ranging from 40 minutes to one hour.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution on routes through valleys and canyons due to the risk of landslides, particularly on the Katlanovo–Veles, Mavrovo–Debar–Struga, Vinica–Berovo, and Kočani–Delčevo sections.

Several traffic regulations are currently in effect: • A summer traffic regime is active until August 31, prohibiting heavy vehicles over 15 tons on state roads during weekends and periods of extreme heat. • Roadwork on the A4 highway near the Preod toll station has altered traffic patterns until October 1. • On the A2 highway (Skopje–Ohrid–Skopje), heavy vehicles over 7.5 tons face weekend restrictions until September 1.

Additionally, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has introduced the ‘Safe City’ web application, allowing foreign drivers to electronically view and pay traffic fines to minimize border delays.
