The Assembly of North Macedonia voted to adopt a supplementary rebalancing of the 2026 state budget. The rebalancing raises the total planned revenue to 379.5 billion denars and total expenditures to 425.8 billion denars, creating a projected deficit of 46.3 billion denars (4.1 % of GDP). Capital‑investment funding is increased by about 46 billion denars, roughly a 14.5 % rise over the original budget, to support infrastructure, agriculture, social protection and other priority projects. Finance Minister Gordana Dimitriесka Kоcoska said the changes will sustain economic growth of around 3.5 % and accelerate development, while the opposition party Levica, which submitted 47 amendments, announced it will vote against the proposal. The vote was recorded as 64 in favour, with no votes against or abstentions.
