North Macedonia reports traffic increases and border delays

Traffic conditions in North Macedonia show increased intensity on roads outside urban areas. While most border crossings report no significant delays for entry or exit, the Bogorodica border crossing is experiencing waiting times of approximately 45 minutes for vehicles exiting the country.

The Automotive Association of Macedonia (AMSM) has issued warnings regarding potential landslides in mountainous areas, river valleys, and canyons, specifically advising caution on the Katlanovo – Veles, Mavrovo – Debar – Struga, Vinica – Berovo, and Kočani – Delčevo routes.

Ongoing roadwork and bridge repairs are affecting several sections of the national road network, including the A2 Gostivar–Straža segment and the A4 Miladinovci–Sveti Nikole–Štip route near the Preod toll station.
