North Macedonia to maintain stable electricity prices through year-end
North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Micoski announced that electricity prices will remain stable through the end of the year. He stated that the government's priority is to maintain energy stability despite the ongoing global energy crisis.
Micoski noted that while energy prices are reaching record highs across Europe, North Macedonia has managed to keep fuel prices below 1.6 euros per liter. He expressed the government's intention to fight for price stability even after January 1st, though he noted that final decisions for the new year will depend on energy companies and the Regulatory Commission. Additionally, the Prime Minister confirmed that there are no planned changes to electricity tariff blocks.
