North Macedonia's First Football League begins 2026/27 season

The 2026/27 season of North Macedonia's First Football League launched with a reduced roster of ten clubs, down from the previous year. The opening round was held in Kavadarci, where Tikveshi defeated Arsimi 5‑1.

The league will feature fewer matches per round, with each club playing five games instead of six. Upcoming fixtures include Struga vs. Shkëndija and Vardari vs. Bregallnica, both slated for 17:00, followed by a final round on Sunday. For the first time, Shkëndija e Haraçinës qualified for the top division, and games will be hosted at the Çair stadium. The season's schedule runs from mid‑August onward.
