Northeast Brazil hosts regional swimming and 3x3 basketball competitions

Regional sports competitions concluded in Northeast Brazil, featuring significant achievements in swimming and basketball.

In swimming, the SESI Paraíba team secured the overall runner-up position in the second stage of the Northeast Master Swimming Tournament held in Natal. The delegation of approximately 40 athletes earned 94 medals, including 45 gold, 37 silver, and 12 bronze. The team also claimed the title for the pre-master category. The next stage of the tournament is scheduled for October in João Pessoa.

In basketball, the Northeast II stage of the Brazilian 3x3 Basketball Championship took place in João Pessoa. The event determined qualifiers for the national final in São Paulo. Key winners included Desportivo (RN) in the female Sub-18 and Sub-23 categories, AEJC (PB) in the male Sub-18 category, DRG (RN) in the male Sub-23 category, and JFL/AABB (RN) in the adult male category.
