Northeastern Anatolia Development Agency supports regional projects with 875 million lira

The Northeastern Anatolia Development Agency (KUDAKA) has provided approximately 875 million lira in support to 246 projects across Bayburt, Erzurum, and Erzincan between early 2022 and June 2026. These funds have contributed to a total investment of 1.5 billion lira in the region, covering sectors such as green transformation, employment, and cultural heritage.

As part of these regional development efforts, a specific program led by the Baksı Culture and Art Foundation, financed by KUDAKA’s 2024 Social Development Support Program, recently concluded an eight-month training course for ehram weaving. Twenty women in Bayburt received certificates at a ceremony held at the Baksı Museum, marking a step toward preserving local weaving techniques and integrating them into modern design and the local economy.
