Norway polls: Progress Party leads national survey, SV tops student vote
A new July poll for Norway shows the Progress Party (FrP) at 28.4% support, making it the country’s largest party. Together with the Christian Democratic Party and Høyre, FrP secures a right‑leaning parliamentary majority of 87 seats. The poll also records Høyre falling to 15.7%, the Labour Party at 22.4% and the Red Party at 8.1%.
In a separate survey of Norwegian university students, the Socialist Left Party (SV) leads with 16.7% backing, followed closely by the Labour Party at 16.1% and FrP at 15.8%. Høyre garners 13.4%, the Red Party 13.2%, and the Green Party 10.5%. The student poll sampled 1,004 respondents aged 18 and over, with a margin of error between 1.9 and 3.1 percentage points.
