Nothing and Daisy debut new high-end headphones
The audio hardware market sees new entries from Nothing and Daisy. Nothing has launched the Headphone (1) Pro, featuring a triple-driver architecture that includes a dynamic woofer, a dynamic driver, and an xMEMS driver for high-frequency precision. The headphones offer adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 46 dB, supported by a 10-microphone array, and include Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking. Tuned in collaboration with Metropolis Studios, the device provides up to 68 hours of battery life without ANC and is available in black and white.
Simultaneously, the California-based company Daisy has debuted the Daisy One. Constructed from aluminum and TR90, the headphones emphasize tactile usability with a physical metal volume knob and precise controls. The model includes a unique ‘Still Mode’ that plays ambient sounds like rain or ocean waves for mindfulness. The Daisy One offers up to 45 hours of battery life and supports digital audio via USB-C, with LDAC support expected in a future update.
