Nothing unveils Headphone (1) Pro flagship headphones

Overview

Nothing has officially launched the Headphone (1) Pro, a premium flagship wireless over-ear headset priced at approximately $399 in the US and €349 in Europe. Designed to compete with high-end brands like Sony and Sennheiser, the device maintains the manufacturer’s signature transparent aesthetic but utilizes a sophisticated construction of aluminum, titanium, and scratch-resistant 9H Panda glass, weighing 327 grams.

The headphones feature a redesigned triple-driver acoustic architecture consisting of a 40mm dynamic driver for bass, a precision dynamic driver for mid-range, and an xMEMS solid-state tweeter for high frequencies. Developed in collaboration with London-based Metropolis Studios, the device includes a physical ‘Flat EQ’ switch inside the left earcup. This switch disables all digital processing and spatial audio to provide a neutral sound profile intended for studio professionals. The device also offers several presets, including a mode modeled after Studio B at Metropolis Studios, as well as ‘Concert Hall’, ‘Live House’, and ‘Club’ modes.

Technical specifications include adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) capable of reducing noise by up to 46dB via a 10-microphone system, Hi-Res Audio certification with LDAC and LC3 support, and spatial audio with dynamic head tracking. The model is IP52 rated and offers battery life of up to 30 hours with ANC enabled and up to 68 hours with it disabled. The headphones are available in black and white and support Bluetooth 6.1, Auracast, and lossless audio via USB-C (up to 24-bit/192 kHz) or a 3.5mm analog jack. In addition to brand ambassador Charli XCX, the company has named BTS member V as a global brand ambassador.
