Notting Hill Carnival celebrates 60th anniversary in West London

The Notting Hill Carnival is set to return to West London for its 60th anniversary, celebrating six decades of Caribbean culture, music, and masquerade. The festivities are expected to draw more than two million attendees over the August bank holiday weekend.

In celebration of this milestone, MASQ by Naitram, in collaboration with ABIR Mas, will present ‘UNLEASH’ on Carnival Monday. The presentation draws inspiration from Caribbean folklore, including figures such as Anansi, Mama D’Lo, and Mama Sally, aiming to blend traditional legacy with fresh energy and self-expression.

Attendees are advised to prepare for the large-scale event by choosing comfortable footwear, such as gym trainers, to avoid damage from spills or difficult terrain. Practical recommendations include bringing waterproof clothing and secure bags for essentials.
