Nottingham Forest targets Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado

Nottingham Forest is reportedly interested in resuming negotiations with Barcelona for midfielder Marc Casado. The 22-year-old, who has seen reduced playing time at the Catalan club, has been identified as a potential outgoing. Barcelona is reportedly seeking approximately €30 million for the player and is keen to finalize a sale within the next two weeks.

While Casado has previously been linked with Manchester United and has attracted interest from Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, and Benfica, Nottingham Forest is believed to be looking to reignite their interest following a previously rejected bid. The signing would provide competition for Forest's current midfield options, including Xaver Schlager, Nicolas Dominguez, and Ibrahima Sangare.
