Nottingham Forest places €28m bid for Fábio Vieira and readies €25m offer for Davide Frattesi

Nottingham Forest has submitted a €28 million offer to Arsenal for Portuguese midfielder Fábio Vieira. The bid follows the player's strong season on loan at Hamburger SV, where he scored seven goals and provided five assists. Arsenal has not yet confirmed acceptance, and Hamburg is also interested, citing a €22 million buy‑out clause that the club deems too high.

In a separate pursuit, Forest is preparing a €25 million bid for Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi. Inter insists on a €30 million price, leaving a €5 million gap that must be closed for a deal. Frattesi, on a contract until 2028, has been linked with a move since January, and Forest previously explored loan‑with‑option arrangements for him.

Both bids reflect Forest’s strategy to strengthen its midfield ahead of the new Premier League season, targeting players with proven European experience.
