Nova Gradiška celebrates 30th Music Summer with museum exhibitions

The City Museum of Nova Gradiška will host two free exhibitions on 23 July and 30 July to mark the 30th anniversary of the town’s flagship open‑air festival, Nova Gradiška Music Summer. The first exhibition, “Folk Costumes through Tošo Dabac’s Lens”, presents photographs by the renowned Croatian photographer of people from Croatia, Bosnia‑Herzegovina and Macedonia and is curated by Bojana Poljaković Popović.

The second exhibition, “Ivan Hus – Violin Maker”, displays instruments and workshop items of the celebrated craftsman known as the Zagreb Stradivari; some of his violins are in the Metropolitan Opera in New York. It is curated by museum director Rosana Škrgulja. Both openings begin at 19:00 and admission is free.
