Nova Iguaçu offers free youth workshops in arts and culture

The Casa da Juventude in Nova Iguaçu has opened registrations for free workshops in DJing, dance, theater, and graffiti. A total of 80 spots are available, with 20 vacancies for each discipline.

These activities are aimed at local youth aged 15 to 29 who are registered in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico). The program seeks to provide opportunities for artistic development, creativity, and social transformation through culture.

According to Cristiane Araujo, coordinator of the Casa da Juventude, the initiative aims to help young people discover talents and build their own paths. The workshops are part of celebrations for Brazil's Youth Day, observed on September 22.
