Novi Sad student parliament elections announced

Elections have been announced for the student parliament of the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, as well as for the University of Novi Sad. The elections for the Faculty of Philosophy are scheduled to take place on September 14, from 8:00 to 16:00.

The organization GLAS has called on students to support a list of students in blockade. To do so, the group must collect approximately 500 signatures—representing 10 percent of the faculty's 4,807 students—by September 3.

While several other faculties within the university, such as Medicine, Law, and Natural Sciences and Mathematics, held their elections on time with independent lists winning, the deadline for the Faculty of Philosophy elections had passed on April 10. The upcoming elections for the University of Novi Sad student parliament, which consists of 34 members, were announced on August 20.
