Nürburgring hosts major GT racing return for DL Racing and AF Corse

International motorsport returns to the Nürburgring circuit in Germany as several racing teams prepare for the second half of the 2026 season.

In the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, DL Racing is fielding three Lamborghini Huracán ST Evo2 cars. In the Pro category, the duo of Simone Iaquinta and Kevin Gilardoni aims to recover championship points following a retirement at Spa. Additionally, Francesco Turzo and Philip Tang will compete in the Lamborghini Cup (LC) class.

In the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, driver Alessio Rovera will compete for AF Corse. Driving the Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo alongside Nicklas Nielsen and Tommaso Mosca, the team seeks to build on a recent podium at the 24 Hours of Spa. The event features a 55-car GT3 grid and includes qualifying sessions on Sunday followed by the main race.
