Nürburgring sees Toyota GR GT3 debut and Grasser Lamborghini DTM entry

Toyota used the Nürburgring Nordschleife for development runs of its new GR GT3, conducting the first public test of the Japanese automaker's GT3 car. The vehicle, slated to enter global competition in 2027, was driven by former 24‑hour Nürburgring overall winner Jesse Krohn together with Toyota Gazoo Racing pilots Naoya Gamou and Nirei Fukuzumi. The test was part of a collective session organized by Gazoo Racing and supported by the KCMG team.

The Grasser team announced that it will field two Lamborghini Temerario GT3 cars at the upcoming DTM weekend on the Nürburgring, after a previous car could not be prepared in time. A new chassis has been purchased, and the team is finalising driver line‑ups, with possible candidates including former DTM driver Franck Perera, Patric Niederhauser and others.
