NSW Police arrest man in major drug supply network bust

NSW Police have arrested a 29-year-old man following a drug investigation linked to a western drug supply network. The operation began on August 27, 2026, when officers stopped a utility vehicle on the Great Western Highway at Wentworth Falls.

Following the arrest, officers from the Western Region Enforcement Squad, Penrith Region Enforcement Squad, and Blue Mountains Police District executed a search warrant at a residence on Sayers Street in Lawson. Several items related to the investigation were seized during the search.

The man faces six charges, including the supply of prohibited drugs in commercial and large commercial quantities, participating in a criminal group to contribute to criminal activity, and breaching bail. He was refused bail and is scheduled to appear before Bathurst Local Court on October 14, 2026.
