NTA declares UGC-NET June 2026 results for 84 subjects

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the UGC-NET June 2026 results for 84 subjects. Out of approximately 6.07 lakh candidates who participated in the examination, over 4,000 have qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and more than 97,000 have achieved eligibility for PhD admissions.

Due to identified errors in the original question papers—including factual, typographical, translation, and language-related mistakes—the NTA has scheduled re-examinations for three specific subjects: English, Commerce, and Sociology. These re-tests will take place on September 9 and 10, 2026. Candidates for these subjects will not be able to access their scorecards until the re-examination process is complete.

For the 84 subjects where results are live, candidates can download their scorecards and check category-wise cut-off marks via the official UGC-NET portal. The NTA has advised students to rely solely on official channels for updates regarding the re-examination and subsequent result declarations.
