National Testing Agency releases UGC NET June 2026 re-exam results

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results and final answer keys for the UGC NET June 2026 re-examinations in English, Commerce, and Sociology. The re-exams were conducted on September 9 and 10 across 454 centers in 272 cities following the cancellation of the original papers due to errors in the question sets.

Out of the 196,491 candidates who participated in the re-examination, 120,355 were declared successful. This includes 824 candidates qualifying for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), 11,610 qualifying for Assistant Professor positions, and 23,154 qualifying for PhD admissions only.

Candidates can access their scorecards and final answer keys via the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, by logging in with their application number and password. The NTA noted that no additional fees were charged for the re-examination and the decision to re-conduct the tests was made to ensure a fair and error-free process.
