NTPC Renewable Energy Boosts Capacity with Gujarat Wind Project and ₹2.5 billion NCD Funding

KP Energy commissioned a 50.4 MW wind power project for NTPC Renewable Energy Limited at the Vanki site in Nakhatrana, Kutch, Gujarat. The project uses 16 Suzlon turbines of 3.15 MW each and has reached commercial operation.

NTPC Green Energy Ltd announced a ₹2,500 crore unsecured non‑convertible debenture issue with a 7.27% coupon and a 10‑year term. Proceeds will fund capital expenditure, refinance existing projects, provide inter‑company loans to subsidiaries and joint ventures, and support general corporate purposes, reinforcing the company’s renewable‑energy expansion across India.
