Bradesco Principal targets 700,000 high‑income clients by 2026

Bradesco Principal, the premium‑service arm of Brazil’s Bradesco bank, currently serves about 400,000 high‑income customers. The unit has set an ambitious goal to reach roughly 700,000 such clients by the end of 2026, representing a 75 % increase in its base.

To achieve this, the bank plans to strengthen investment advisory, improve the overall banking experience and launch targeted actions to attract customers from rival premium segments, especially Itaú Personnalité and Santander Select. The competition for affluent clients is intensifying, with banks investing billions in exclusive cards, airport VIP lounges and personalized services to capture a lucrative market that generates disproportionately high revenue.

Bradesco’s expansion is part of a broader shift in Brazil’s financial sector, where traditional institutions and fintechs alike are enhancing premium offerings to win the loyalty of wealthy individuals.
