Nuevo Laredo approves land donation to IMSS for childcare center

The Nuevo Laredo City Council has unanimously approved the donation of municipal land to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS). The site, located in the Valle Dorado neighborhood in the south of the city, is designated for the construction of a Center for Early Childhood Education and Care (CECI).

This project is a collaborative effort between the municipal and federal governments to strengthen the National Care System promoted by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. Mayor Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal stated that the donation aims to provide working families with safe and specialized spaces for the integral development of their children.
