San Luis and Nuevo Laredo inaugurate major infrastructure works

Infrastructure projects are underway in San Luis and Nuevo Laredo to improve urban mobility and economic activity.

In San Luis, Governor Claudio Poggi and Mayor Gastón Hissa inaugurated the repaving of Juan Gilberto Funes Avenue. The project, covering approximately 10 blocks, involved an investment of roughly $383,000,000. This initiative is part of the ‘Construyendo con Tu Pueblo’ program, a joint provincial and municipal effort where both parties contribute 50% of the costs.

In Nuevo Laredo, Mayor Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal oversaw the modernization of Avenida Reforma. The project involved an investment of approximately 84 million pesos to improve 25,374 square meters of urban infrastructure. The works included upgrading pluvial infrastructure, sanitary drainage, and potable water lines to enhance vehicle flow and support the local commercial sector, particularly in response to previous issues with heavy rainfall.
